You Won’t Always Have All The Answers

You won’t always have all the answers. Only take seriously the advice of others who you greatly respect.

This anonymous quote is a quick reminder to choose our advisors carefully. Getting advice is easy, in fact people typically love to give advice. However much of that advice, though well-meaning, might not have much value. They may not have the experience or the genuine insight to be able to help you. When seeking advice, prefer that of someone who has most successfully done that which you are attempting to do. In general cases, if you do not have access to someone who has done exactly what you are attempting, someone who is a high achiever is more likely to be able to give valuable advice due to what they have learned.
